Kim Hyun Joong visits Kim Kyu Jong at the ‘Goong’ set!

 

SS501 members shows affection for one another. SS501′s leader Kim Hyun Joong visited their center Kim Kyu Jong at the ‘Goong’ set. G8plan tweeted a picture of Hyun Joong and Kyu Jong who seen n the picture.

G8plan tweeted, “Last night, Hyun Joong visited Kyu prince and Goong team at practice room~ Thank you for the drinks.”

In the picture Kyu Jong is looking at Hyun Joong while talking, they are both smiling. It shows that even they are currently having their solo activities their brotherly love for each other never fades.

13 Apr the [Musical GOONG] Official photoshoot was carried out in Seoul.

Staged for the 1st time in Kyoto starring Kim Kyu Jong as the lead actor, Musical actress Kwak Sun Young continuing the Korean version of the [Musical GOONG] and being lead actress again did their photoshoot together.

This time, Kyu Jong will be acting the character of Prince Shin.
And this is the same role which TVXQ Yunho acted in the Korean version of [Musical GOONG]

Q: How would the role of Prince Shin character be in Kyoto performance?
Kyu: The Prince Shin which Yunho sunbae has acted is a very charismatic and masculine kinda style, for me I want to show a very easy-going and gentle style.

Q: Usually what is the difference between the character of Kyu Jong and Prince Shin?
Kyu: I am a person who doesnt speak much, thus not very easy to really chat with other people. Prince Shin is totally opposite of me! Will work hard on stage to withdraw from my real self to play this character! (smile)

Believe it will be very fast we can see a different side of Kyu Jong in this new Japanese version of [Musical GOONG]

Photographs of SS501 member Kim Kyu-jong dressed up for his first musical act has been unveiled by its musical producer Group 8.

According to a press release by Group 8 on Friday, Kim, who was recently cast as the male lead for "Goong," posed for promotional pictures of the upcoming musical at a studio in Seoul on Wednesday.

Some dozen media outlets from Japan including Sankei Shimbun and Hallyupia covered the shoot since the musical is set to go overseas for the first time and show in Kyoto, Japan, from June 11 to July 1.

When asked how he feels about his role as a crown prince in a constitutional monarchy, Kim answered that he is receiving advice from TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho who played that role last year.

"It not easy trying to fill the shoes of other actors who have played the role of the prince," Kim was quoted as saying in the statement. "Right now, I know I still look a bit awkward donned in the garment of crown prince, I promise to show you my own unique version of Prince Lee Shin," he promised.

The show's venture to Japan was realized through invitation from top Japanese entertainment companies Shochiku famous for traditional kabuki performances and talent agency IMX.

"Goong," about an ordinary girl named Shin Chae-kyung who suddenly finds herself engaged to the crown prince of Korea in an alternate universe where the country stands as nation of constitutional monarchy, is originally from a popular comic book series by Park So-hee that was also re-adapted into TV series "Princess Hours" starring Yoon Eun-hye and Joo Ji-hoon in 2006.

The musical version was first staged in September last year at the National Museum of Korea by Group 8 famous for production of TV dramas such as the mega-hit series "Boys Over Flowers" (KBS, 2009).

Kim debuted as one of the members in boy band SS501 along with Kim Hyun-joong, Park Jung-min, Heo Young-saeng and Kim Hyung-jun with their first self-titled album in 2005. The group released various hit songs such as "Snow Prince," U R Man" and "Love Ya."

In June of last year however, the members of SS501 sought out individual careers after their contract with DSP Media expired and signed with new agencies.

It's official. Kyu Jong is really acting for the Musical Goong. I'm really excited for the outlook of this musical because Musical Cafe-In, which Hyung Jun starred in, was a success. And during Cafe-In, my blog went full and I was panicking and don't know what to do everytime they hold press conferences because I'm sure I'll be flooded with super many media pics and photos from Prettyboy. Hahaha!! :D I WANT TO FEEL THAT INTENSITY AGAIN!! Hahaha. Well, for now, we'll start with the details of this musical and hope that Kyu Jong will do good. Let's wish him good health because he will be facing a busy world from now. Kyu Jong oppa, go! Go! Go! Fighting :))
